Zeiss 40mm f2 Robot Biotar

I took a Zeiss lens from WWII and figured out a way to mount it to a modern digital camera. This lens was designed for high contrast photography, specifically to photograph allied aircraft in the sights of a Luftwaffe pilot’s machine gun. The last two images were taken through the lens. This little Biotar is over 70 years old and works just as well as it did flying over Europe.
